FINEX’18 Conference was from the 17th to the 18th of October 2018 at the Geological Society base in Burlington House, Piccadilly, London. Financiers and explorers from major and junior companies along with others involved in the operation attended. It was interesting. Exploration project progression, mining risk management, exploration company & community local procurement, rare earth element importance, innovations in exploration & Women in Mining were some topics discussed. FINEX ’18 is a non-profit event. MinSouth (a local society of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3)), the Applied Earth Science Division of IOM3, the Mineral Deposits Study Group of the Geological Society, and the Association of Mining Analysts supported and organized FINEX’18.
