  • Presented incident investigation procedures to AIMC’s Health, Safety, Environment and Community Department.
  • Summarised visit in a comprehensive report which included occupational health and safety management modification suggestions.

Saskatchewan Ministry of Labour Relations & Workplace Safety - Occupational Health and Safety Division Occupational Health Officer - Mines Inspector

  • Promoted the development and implementation of operations and strategy to improve OHS performance at minesites more than 1200 times that would include legislative compliance and best industry practice.
  • Participated and actively contributed to the development and maintenance of policies, documents, organisational procedures, operational goals and targets related to health and safety programs.
  • Conducted and monitored periodic audits to ensure that standards and legal requirements are consistent with the provincial legislation using analysis methodologies and raise non-­compliance issues during  meetings with stakeholders.
  • Took appropriate and robust action for any failings and non-compliance with Saskatchewan Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
  • Monitored, assessed and reviewed the Health and Safety training requirements to ensure competency levels are achieved.
  • Collaborated with colleagues in different technical disciplines to investigate unsafe hygiene, radiation and ergonomic concerns.
