Introduction

A mining engineer with strong field and research experience, previously serving as a Mines Inspector with the Saskatchewan provincial government in Canada. Areas of focus include field safety systems and remote access technologies.Published works include papers on 5-point safety card systems, buoyant aircraft, and the UX-2 — a robotic aerial platform developed for geological exploration in submerged environments.Presented work on the UX-2 at the CIM Conference in 2022. Continuing research interests include the use of buoyant aircraft for improving access to remote exploration sites.Currently based in the United Kingdom, close to Ashford in Kent. Travel time to London, Ashford International, or Folkestone typically ranges from one to two hours, offering convenient access to both national and international connections
